Alicante Culture
A destination that has no doubts to its popularity whether that be to tourists or the invaders who were so frequently popping in though it was no social visit! It continuously proves why it is the second most popular destination in the Valencian Province and you surely have a friend or overheard someone who has been there, no more word of mouth throw yourself into the deep end for a brilliant time.
With their diets being at the forefront of quality and flavour the aquatic cuisine will have you bargaining the locals for the recipes. Talking about the bargaining, Alicante has always been known for it's overseas trade as one of the main hubs for growth in earlier times. A city that has certainly had its fair share of scrapes resulting in a rocky few centuries where a religious influence is certainly still quite present reflected in its festivals such as the May Crosses.
Though don't worry we havent forgotten about the fun to be had, try and re-live the glory of the 1970 handball team by getting involved in a few games to test out your skills or maybe you'd prefer to get into one of the many pieces of literature genius by writers like Miguel Hernández. Maybe end your night at the hippodrome if you think a dance is in order either way take a look at the pages below to check out all that Alicante and its culture has to offer!
