Sports in Marbella

Introduction

Marbella isn't renowned for their successful sports team but there are an abundance of facilities available for you. Though UD Marbella is the local football team who were originally forced from scratch and they have had a string of coaches due to the impulsive decision making by former owner Jesus Gil. Currently residing in segunda B division they have had a rollercoaster ride with new combinations of players.For basketball then you can admire some talent being shown off with club sanduba morabella who play in the first division.

Tennis, one of the sports with ever growing popularity as with big players such as Nadal and Corretja it has created a spark in Marbella that is only going to continue, golf is also an important sport that requires precise skill and in Marbella you can get involved with one of many challenging courses.

On the alternative side of things there are a few sports/activities that you can get involved with, first on the list is parachuting which leaves you free falling for at least a minute before releasing your parachute, there is also windsurfing which has all the adrenalin rush you will need and you use the wind to take control on this exciting sports.
