The local football team is named CA Osasuna who plays in the segunda division and then moved onto La Liga, they have also qualified for the champions league with regular participation in cups including the spanish cup and UEFA cup. Other interesting sporting faces are Miguel Indurain who is a Tour de France winner Also there are some serious competitors for the alternative sports handball is one of those which isn't going to rival football anytime soon. the caisse D'Epargne cycling team also has some famous faces.

Golf & Bullfighting

Golf is one of the big sports thate are available and it has some tough courses which will put your sense of perception to test, if you want to get yourself down to one of the courses then check out the Ulzama golf course. Pamplona is famous for its running of the bulls and can almost be considered a sport in itself but where the bulls are heading is the important part as there are several decent performances going on throughout the year. One of the unique alternatives for Pamplona as handball is a popular event generally played indoors whilst it has had some success for Pamplona over the years.
