Spanish + Spanish Art History
Our Spanish + Spanish Art History course is a wonderful opportunity for students interested in learning all about the history of Spanish art while consquently improving their Spanish skills and gaining a greater understanding of the sights that surround them.
The course will cover some of the most important trends and artistic representations from throughout the long trajectory of Spanish artwork- Romanesque, Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance, Baroque, Cubism, etc. Additionally, you will learn about the influences of the unique cultures that have passed through Spain - Roman, Moorish, Jewish, Catholic, etc. - over the course of its lengthy history.
You will also reflect upon the lives and works of many of Spain's most prominant painters, such as Velazquez, Picasso, Goya, Miró, Dalí and many more.
