Cultural Immersion Programs

Enforex

Many of our Spanish courses in Spain have the "+5" cultural lesson option, which will provide you with a good - though general - knowledge of Spanish culture. Numerous students, however, express interest in going the extra distance and immersing themselves even more in the Spanish culture by really delving into a certain topic or cultural aspect. After all, the ability to immerse yourself in the culture is what makes immersion programs abroad really stand out!

Below you will find a few featured cultural immersion programs available to you as a student in Enforex Spanish schools in Spain.

CULTURAL IMMERSION IN SPAIN:
Flamenco Dance

A country's traditional music styles and dances are not only unique and expressive art forms, but they also comprise a very important and often historic part of its culture. Flamenco, created by the gypsy community in the heart of Andalucía, is known throughout the world for its passion and unique personality. As you study Spanish in Spain you will have the opportunity - with our Spanish + Flamenco course available in several cities - to learn about the history of flamenco as well as learn the steps with professional flamenco instructors. You will have 20 lessons each week focused on expanding and improving your Spanish language skills while another 8 will be dedicated to the art of flamenco. Just imagine what the folks at home will say when you come back a Spanish-speaking, flamenco-dancing expert!

CULTURAL IMMERSION IN SPAIN:
Spanish Art History, Literature or History

The ideal immersion program provides participants with a perfect balance of language and culture; these three course options provide you with just that! Several of our Spanish schools offer Spanish immersion programs that focus on key aspects of Spain's multifaceted culture. For either two or four weeks you will divide your time between general Spanish language lessons and lessons dedicated to the cultural topic of your choice: art history, history or literature. If you are looking to really bump up your cultural immersion experience, our culture topic courses are an unbeatable opportunity to do so.

CULTURAL IMMERSION IN SPAIN:
Christmas & New Years Traditions

As twinkling lights decorate the streets, holiday sweets are bought, shops and markets bustle with Christmas shoppers and the aroma of roasted chestnuts wafts through the air, Spain is a festive and magical place at Christmas. Many language schools close down during holiday seasons, which means its students miss out on the opportunity to experience towns and at the most emblematic times of their cultural calendar. Enforex, however, stays open all year-round and we even have a special Christmas Program, complete with Spanish lessons and special activities and excursions to ensure your total immersion in Spain's winter festivities.
