Language Immersion

Enforex

Up until now, the word "immersion" has generally had a loose association with water: swimmers, scuba divers, submarines, etc. Nowadays, however, it's taken on a whole new meaning in the realm of language studies. Just as a swimmer quickly acquires the skills to stay afloat and swim in an environment like a pool or beach, a Spanish student will rapidly improve when he or she is immersed in a Spanish-speaking environment.

So what, you may be asking, is the difference between regular language classes and language immersion classes? Simply stated, language immersion is when the target language is employed as a teaching tool instead of being merely a class subject. Your Spanish language immersion classes will be taught entirely in Spanish, regardless of whether you're a proficient speaker or a brand-new beginner. In our schools, the common language for our diverse international student body is Spanish; all other languages simply disappear.

We will admit that there are all sorts of websites and grammar books, vocabulary lists and language classes available to you at home. These are good resources and will help you get acquainted with the language. However, they simply cannot give you the in-depth cultural understanding, constant practice and rapid improvement that an immersion program abroad can.

So don't settle for just getting your feet wet; instead, dive into that great big pool called Spain for the exciting, educational and eye-opening adventure of a lifetime!
