Spanish Language Teaching Method

In order to reach every type of student, Enforex employs diverse, innovative methodologies combined with a communicative approach in our dedicated efforts to teach students the skills and concepts necessary to feel comfortable in a variety of Spanish-speaking contexts. What do we mean by a communicative approach? Our process is based on learning descriptive elements of the language and using them in specific situations to expand our capacity to communicate with others in genuine social contexts.

We focus our educational philosophy on a commitment to developing the skills, knowledge and attitudes to help students:

  • participate with others in all kinds of situations
  • cultivate independence in thoughts and actions
  • improve communicative capacities so that students feel free and open towards native speakers, thereby fostering advanced understandings and interactions across cultural boundaries
  • embrace an intercultural point of view
  • develop a new sense of self that stems from the experience of living in a new and multilingual environment

Linguistic activities are present and contextualized in numerous arenas of our social lives: public, personal, educational, professional, etc. Our goal is to help you acquire the ability to competently communicate in all of these contexts, which is made possible through teaching you how to produce and understand both the linguistic and non-linguistic elements of a wide range of social situations.

During Spanish classes, your teacher will focus on theory and practice for all the linguistic components necessary when learning languages: vocabulary and grammar, writing and reading, speaking and listening. We encourage students to learn via both inductive and deductive methodological approches.

We also strive to provide our students with an in-depth comprehension of Spanish-speaking cultures, which is why we include the "+5" cultural lessons in many of our courses. Through these complementary culture lessons, students will gain an intercultural understanding that enables them to interact and communicate across cultural borders.

Spanish Course Materials

Immediately following the placement test on the very first day of class, you will receive the workbook and textbook that correspond to your determined Spanish level. If your level improves substantially over the course of your Spanish program, we are always willing to bump you up to the appropriate course level. However, as course materials are not included in the program price, you must pay for original materials as well as any new or additional course books.

Certificates & Diplomas

When you learn Spanish in Spain with Enforex, you will receive an official Enforex diploma that details the type of course, total number of hours completed and achieved level of langugae proficiency. Additionally, you will receive a Certificate Report Card that includes an in-depth account of your progress in all specific linguistics covered. We also offer U.S. university credits and certifications for other international universities via joint curriculum revision projects.
